Beginning, Monday, April 18, 2016, K.I.B.I.’s academic students will start two-weeks of rigorous final exams at the end of this academic year.

It is an exciting time for everyone here at K.I.B.I. This month, the first batch of academic students are taking exams for the final time before graduating with a Bachelor of Buddhist Studies degree. 

During the 2016 Spring Semester at K.I.B.I., Professor Sempa Dorje taught The Treatise on Pointing Out the Tathagata Heart by the 3rd Karmapa Rangjung Dorje.

On Friday and Saturday, 18-19 March 2016, the annual KIBS Governing Body Meeting was held.

Hannah Nydahl, one of the first western disciples of the 16th Gyalwa Karmapa, was a major driving force in spreading the Buddha-dharma in the West. Hannah was also strongly connected to K.I.B.I. from the very early days as she lived, translated and taught at K.I.B.I.
