International Women’s Day is celebrated to honor the dedication, achievements and devotion of women and signifies their importance in our society.

Every year, the Guild for Service, a voluntary Development Organization, in collaboration with War Widows Association, an Apex Body for the rehabilitation of War Widows, observe International Women’s Day by holding Sarvadharma, “Peace Prayer”. During the occasion, Karmapa International Buddhist Institute, KIBI represented the Buddhist community and made its noble prayers on Wednesday, 4th March 2015 at 3:00 pm at Kirti Mandap of Gandhi Smriti and Darshan Samiti, 5, Tees January Marg, New Delhi.

Today women belonging to different classes have come forward showcasing their talents/capabilities.
