Charitable activity at the Institution for the Blind

On May 6th 2014, Karmapa International Buddhist Society had organized a charitable activity at the Institution for the Blind at Lajpat Nagar, New Delhi on the occasion of H.H. Karmapa’s 31st birthday. There were around 90 visually impaired students at the school and KIBS treated them to a nice dinner including chocolates, juices and sweets. The coordinator for the school approached KIBS with a request to sponsor a sound system, which is essential to the school’s needs and KIBS lent a helping hand by contributing some money in order to fulfill their request.
