The monks, staff and students in KIBI conducted pujas and offered butter-lamps today in spiritual solidarity and solace with all the suffering multitudes throughout the Himalayan world in the immediate aftermath of the earthquake, the epicenter of which struck Nepal.
As Nepal in particular, and other states of India to a lesser extent, undergoes the shock, turmoil and torture of the painstaking process of rehabilitation, the prayers, aspirations and offerings were made to alleviate the current suffering of the masses and to remove further obstacles to a speedy path to normalcy.
